    Nice starter picks

Posted by Joshua Christy on 8th Jan 2016

For the price a these are great picks. I purchased 18 today for my self and a few more for a friend. They feel great, if the handles are an issue for you don't forget the Interchangeable Handle its located under specialty items. The insert into it making a full handle. If your new to picking these are great starters to get a fill for picking and then move up to the laminated ones. Or use these and the Interchangeable Handle. Either way you will like these picks.

    Simple but good quality

These are made of quality stainless steel just like every one elses tools. But these are cheaper. They can be bent all up then straightened back out without work-hardening. How can you go wrong? The finish may not be quite as nice, but really who cares? Most people wrap their handles anyway. These are my prefered brand of picks.

Nice and strong, for a great price.

These are good picks for a good price. I ordered the Bogota, known here as the "Euro Wave", the FALE reach, the Euro L rake/City rake, called a sawtooth here, and the hybrid offset diamond pick, AKA Deforest pick. Those are all great tools, and the ones I ordered from here are top notch, but there is one slight point of concern for me: The necks of the picks are extremely narrow. This doesn't hurt their usefulness, but it makes me wonder how long things like the Euro Sawtooth will last, since it is a tool meant to be used somewhat aggressively, yet it has quite a narrow neck just before the teeth, which could make it break right there if you aren't careful. That is the only reason I give it four stars. The metal is good, the picks are shaped and sized well, and you can't beat the price. Just be careful with some of them, as with any pick you love.

    Grab a pick!

These are really great. I bought a saw in the plain handle to save some money in my purchase. I did not believe it would be used as much as my ripple handle hooks. I've opened a lock right away with the saw. Study picks, handles are fine (I taped mine) Grab one!
