    Great suggestion from BosnianBill

Posted by Matt on 3rd Jul 2018

I'm a novice picker and I wanted a very small kit I could carry around to practice picking on the go. I saw BosnianBill of the locklab do a video on this set and it looked perfect. It's extremely light weight, the tensioner locks in solidly, all the picks are very smooth and well machined, and the lockup is extremely tight and easy to use.

If there is one thing I would like to see in a 2.0 version of this tool, it would be some way to incorporate a top of the keyway tensioner in addition to the bottom one. A lot of the small locks I've been practicing on are just too small to use the medium sized tensioner included in this kit, so I have to use a top tensioner from a different kit. But for most door locks or full sized padlock the included tensioner works just fine.

Best Lockpick tool I have used

I own a lot of sets, and this pick set is by far my go-to. It's extremely lightweight which is a huge selling point, and all the parts move well.

    Great set

Posted by Michael on 12th Oct 2017

This is a perfect, small, lightweight set which includes all the most common tools necessary to pick pin tumbler locks. I love that the tension wrench slides into the case. It keeps everything together. This is the most well-designed lockpick set on the market.

    Great for beginners

Posted by Thales on 11th Apr 2017

I wish I had this when I first started out, built with great material and cheap... picks are top notch! I just wish I got their better version made out of metal, the plastic body is ok but since I'm more of an experienced picker and not a beginner, I'd enjoy their metal one a lot better! Long story short, buy this if you're a beginner, buy their better version if you are more experienced =)

    Best in class!

Posted by Unknown on 26th Jul 2016

Great emergency pick set. Nice design. Not the toughest, but for occasional use the handiest. It is small and light and has the right design to easily switch out picks. Which I did. SouthOrd and HPC have a more robust design, but this is easier to carry and a far more useful pick selection. I wouldn't use it for training or my only pick, but for edc this unit rules!

    good little thing

Posted by Eric on 25th Jul 2016

Works well, built quality, and the torque wrench slides into it. I keep it on my key chain so its always available when I need it. Im a novice and picked by front door bolt lock in about a minute.

Its a good thing, buy one ;)

Best lock pick set I own

Posted by Unknown on 13th Jul 2016

I have owned several basic lock pick sets including traditional, titanium, micro pocket sets and credit card. This is without a doubt the best, lightest, and most useful and easily carried set I have ever used.
